Our high-quality Foundry Grade Chromite Sand is a naturally occurring mineral sourced from carefully selected chromite deposits. Specifically processed for use in metal casting industries, it is ideal for molding and core-making applications where high thermal conductivity, resistance to metal penetration, and dimensional stability are essential.

Key Features:

• High Cr₂O₃ Content: Typically 46% – 48%
• Low SiO₂ Content: <1.0%
• Thermal Conductivity: Excellent heat resistance and thermal shock resistance
• Grain Shape: Sub-angular to sub-rounded for optimal flowability and compaction
• Refractoriness: >1,800°C, suitable for steel and high-alloy casting
